The Wolf peaks at an elevation of 4,700 feet and sits in the shadow of Big Bald Mountain, with 72 acres of skiable terrain. It's always snowing here, since The Wolf makes its own snow. There are 22 lighted runs with 2 double lifts, 2 quad lifts, and a surface lift. First-timer on the slopes? Learn to ski or snowboard with the Snow Sports School instructors.

Once you get your balance enjoy 9 easy trails to practice on and explore, or test your skills on one of 3 black diamond runs. After a day of skiing or boarding relax in a rocking chair by a roaring fire with a cup of hot cocoa. Phone: 828-689-4111.

Rates vary based upon the day of the week (Friday through Sunday weekend rates versus weekday rates) and whether holiday rates are in effect.

Open Monday – Saturday 9 a.m. – 10 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Open Sunday nights during select holidays Slopes are closed between 4:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. each evening

Holiday Hours: Christmas Eve, 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Closed Christmas Day
