Biltmore Blooms

This celebration of flowers ends on May 26th so don’t miss out on this fantastic display of Spring colors. The Biltmore Estate gardens have a vast range of designs that all pleasing to the eye. Have you camera ready and your walking shoes on because you won’t want to miss a single thing! For your convenience we do sell Biltmore Estate tickets at our front desk. Please ask our concierge about them when you check-in.

Aromatic Wine Tastings

Also, during the Biltmore Blooms festival the Biltmore Estate will be holding an Aromatic Wine Tasting that is sure to have everyone’s taste buds buzzing with the taste of Spring. All of the wines that you will partake in during this event are inspired by the florals of Spring. It is an event you won’t want to miss and it is happening every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 3:00pm EST until May 26th.

Mother’s Day Brunch At the Deerpark Restaurant

Mother’s Day is right around the corner on Sunday, May 8th.  Indulge your mother with a visit to one of the best restaurants the Biltmore Estate has to offer, the Deerpark Restaurant. This brunch buffet will be served from 10am-3pm EST. and is sure to warm any mother’s heart.  What a great way to show that special lady how much you appreciate and care for her. Reservations are limited so please ask the concierge to make your reservation in advance. Also, you must have a ticket to the estate to get onto the property.

Grape Stomp in Antler Village

From May 14th to September 25th the Biltmore Estate will be holding a grape stomping event every Saturday and Sunday. Why not jump in and join the fun. This tradition of grape stomping goes all the way back to the ancient Egyptians and is a way to soften the peel of the grape so that wine makers can get every bit of flavor from the grape itself. So kick off your shoes and hop right into this long time tradition.

Target & Taste 

Are you an avid marksman or just want to give clay targets a try? At the Biltmore Estate you can do it all. On May 21st Biltmore Sporting Clays Club will be hosting an event to remember. Take your best shot at the clay shooting targets and then relax those shoulders with a nice sip of wine. During this once in a lifetime chance you can be one of the first to try a new wine by the Biltmore Winery. This is a by reservation only event so please ask our concierge to help you with making your reservation beforehand.

DuPont State Forest Tour de Falls

tour-de-fallsTour de Falls is a shuttle bus tour that will take you to some of the best waterfalls within the state park. The shuttle buses will run every 30mins starting at 9:30am and ending at 2:30pm. There are a total of four stops and you are able to catch the next shuttle whenever you wish. Be sure to bring your camera and walking shoes because there will be a short hike to a couple of the waterfalls but it is well worth the walk.

Asheville’s Downtown After Five

Downtown After Five is a summer concert series unique to downtown Asheville. This series kicks off on May 20th with CHA WA as the main headliner and the Jeff Thomas band will be the opening act! Start your weekend off right by listening to some great music and filling up on some of Asheville’s amazing food.

Montford Music & Arts Festival

Located in the historic Montford neighborhood this festival is full of culture! On May 21st come out to see this amazing sight of local musicians and artisans performing their wonderful talents. There will be two stages that will have continuous entertainment throughout the day along with many different cultural dances and art displays.

Mountain Sports Festival


The 16th Annual Mountain Sports Festival is May 27-29th and is a true testament to all the outdoor sports these beautiful Smokey Mountains have to offer. From running to paddle boarding to fueling up on delicious foods this event has something for everyone. There are also multiple children’s events too so the whole family can join in on the fun.

Asheville Beer City Week

On May 28th is the big day for Asheville’s Beer City Festival in Pack Square Park in downtown Asheville. What better way to celebrate beer week than to kick it off with over 30 breweries coming together in one place. Included in the admission ticket are free tastings and the enjoyable music of many live bands. You can hop in a taxi from The Residences at Biltmore and be there in no time!
