Downtown After Five- Friday, June 19:
Corey Harris & Zansa. Downtown After Five provides free live music concerts in downtown Asheville. Thousands gather on North Lexington Avenue near the I-240 overpass, 5-9 PM for the free event, celebrating its 25th year! To purchase alcohol, show a valid picture ID and buy a $2 wristband. Proceeds from wristband sales benefits local non-profits. Wine, water, and food will also be available for purchase. From sandwiches to pizza and ice cream to tacos, food vendors offer something for everyone’s taste. Downtown After 5 is committed to reducing its impact on the environment and features a solar-powered stage, complimentary bike corral, compostable food and beverage containers, and staffed recycling and compost bins.
Bring dad to Biltmore! Free admission for dad on Father’s Day (June 21, 2015) with the purchase of a youth or adult ticket.
Father’s Day Garden Tour June 21st, 1pm to 5pm-This year the garden tour will be held in beautiful Biltmore Forest. Tickets are $20.00 in advance, $25.00 the day of the event.
Buffalo Nickel Father’s Day Brunch
June 21 @ 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. Come out and try the award winning Buffalo Nickel for a special Father’s Day Brunch. Downstairs Dads can watch our Chef prepare signature dishes or head upstairs for Bloody Mary’s, Billiards and Sunday sports on all of our 10 TV’s.
Father’s Day (June 21st) Whiskey Dinner. Dad’s receive a stainless steel hip flask for whiskey. Dress in prohibition era attire & take advantage a special 1930’s photo shoot setup.
